On Monday 19 May 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, received Ms Melissa Collins, Chief Executive Officer and Ms Helen Reid, Chief Commissioner, Girl Guides Australia. 

Then, the Governor-General participated in an interview with Amy Hetherington, Editor, The Big Issue. 

Later the Governor-General recorded a video message for the 2025 National Suicide Prevention Conference.

In the evening, the Governor-General, as Patron, and His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC, hosted a reception for the Fiona Wood Foundation.
