On Wednesday 18 June 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Ms Kate Nesbit, Acting Director, Citizenship Ceremony Section, Home Affairs, attended and presided over a Citizenship Ceremony at the Hornsby Shire Council Chambers for National Citizenship Day. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Anna Wetzel, Principal, visited Warrah Specialist School.
