On Sunday 17 August 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Patron and guest of Mr Andrew Colvin, Chief Executive Officer, Australian Red Cross, made a donation at LifeBlood, and attended a lunch at Moore Park.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron, and His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC, as guests of Mr Andrew Colvin, Chief Executive Officer, Australian Red Cross, attended an AFL match between the Sydney Swans and Geelong Cats at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
