On Monday 18 August 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Sam Mostyn AC, hosted a morning tea for Macular Disease Foundation Australia where she presented research awards. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Satara Uthayakumaran, 2025 Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations. 

Then, the Governor-General, as Patron, and guest of Mr David Dinte, President, visited NextSense. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Ms Jas Chambers, Chair, and Ms Lucy Buxton, Ocean Decade Australia. 

Later, the Governor-General received Ms Kate Jenkins AO, President, Australian Red Cross.
