On Tuesday 30 September 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Order of Australia Honours.  

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Dr Hiroshi Yamakawa, President of the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency.

Then, the Governor-General met with members of the Australian Chamber Orchestra as they conducted a visit of Admiralty House. 

Then, the Governor-General received a phone call from His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM, Governor of Western Australia.

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Charles Curran AC, attended the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation Annual Spring Reception.
