On Monday 13 October 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Patron, received Mr Ian Kemish AM, Chairman, and Dr Genevieve Nelson, Chief Executive Officer, of the Kokoda Track Foundation.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General recorded video messages for National Stroke Awards, Work Week for Diversity Council of Australia, Australian Alumni Singapore Gala, and Surf Life Saving Australia.

Then, the Governor-General received Dame Quentin Bryce AD CVO, former Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Ms Juliet Rieden, Author of 'Quentin Bryce: The Authorised Biography'. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General hosted a reception in honour of Dame Quentin Bryce AD CVO for the book launch of 'Quentin Bryce: The Authorised Biography'.
