On Saturday 18 October 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of LCDR Andrew Leupen, Commanding Officer, embarked on STS Young Endeavour for her arrival into Fleet Base East and welcome ceremony. 

In the evening, the Governor-General, as Commander-in-Chief and guest of Lieutenant Commander Racheal Cosgrove-White (Ret'd), President of DEFGLIS, attended the 2025 Military Pride Ball. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Justin Koonin, President, attends ACON 40th Anniversary Ruby Dinner at Hyatt Regency
