On Tuesday,16 December 2025, the Governor-General, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC provided an interview to Stephen Centiempo, 2CC Radio. 

Then, at Admiralty House, the Governor-General received a High Risk Weather Season briefing from the National Emergency Management Agency. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General provided an interview to Luke Grant, 2GB Radio. 

Later, the Governor-General placed a phone call to Dr Graeme Emonson PSM, Chair Administrator of Moira Shire. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General as guest of Ms Kate Hackett, Acting Chief Executive, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, attended St George Hospital in Kogarah, where she met with staff and patient Mr Ahmed Al-Ahmed following the Bondi Terror attack. 

Then, as guest of Ms Kate Lynch, Donor Centre Manager, Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, the Governor-General attended a Donor Centre at York Street, Sydney. 

Afterward, the Governor-General placed a phone call to Heather and Roger Dyson. 

In the evening, at Admiralty House, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett, hosted a reception for members of the Australian Jewish community affected by the Bondi Terror attack.
