On Friday 19 December 2025, the Governor-General, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of the Honourable Janelle Saffin MP, visited the Bondi Beach Recovery Centre at the North Bondi Returned and Services League.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, visited the Bondi Beach terror attack Vigil, laying flowers at the Bondi Pavilion. 

Later, the Governor-General conducted an interview with Sky News, and other media outlets while onsite at Bondi Pavilion.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Joshua Farquhar Chairman/Managing Director of the North Bondi Returned and Services League had lunch with volunteers and staff from Victims of Terror Acts. 

In the evening, Their Excellencies as guest of Rabbi Jeffrey Kamins, attended a service at Emanuel Synagogue, Woollahra.
