On Monday 19 January 2026, the Governor-General, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, received: Mr Murray Norman, Chief Executive Officer, Better Balanced Futures; Reverend Dr Michael Stead, Bishop of South Sydney; and Mr Joseph La Posta, Chief Executive Officer, Multicultural New South Wales. 

In the evening, the Governor-General, and His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC, convened a reception of multi-faith leaders, at Admiralty House, Sydney. The reception was co-hosted with Mr Murray Norman, Reverend Dr Michael Stead, and Mr Joseph La Posta.
