On Wednesday, 18 February 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, received Constable Scott Dyson, and Probationary Constable Jack Hibbert, New South Wales Police Force, and their family and friends, at Admiralty House Sydney. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, hosted a barbeque in honour of and to thank first responders and healthcare workers who responded to the Bondi Beach Terror Attack on 14 December 2025.

In the evening, the Governor-General, travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
