On Monday 23 March 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, met with the Simpson Prize students via Teams during their visit to Government House, ACT.

Then, the Governor-General received His Excellency Angus Campbell AO, Australian Ambassador to the EU, NATO, Belgium and Luxembourg at Admiralty House in Sydney, New South Wales.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received President Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission at Admiralty House.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Simeon Beckett SC hosted a pre-conference reception for WWF Asia Pacific Network at Admiralty House.
