On Friday 7 August 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Mr Paul O’Sullivan, Chair and Non-Executive Director, visited Western Sydney International Airport, Luddenham, New South Wales.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Professor Jennifer Westacott AC, Chair, Bradfield Development Authority, and Ms Uma Springford, Acting Executive Director, Advanced Manufacturing Readiness Facility, visited the First Building and the Advanced Manufacturing Readiness Facility in Bradfield City, New South Wales. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, hosted an afternoon tea for Shake It Up Australia Foundation at Admiralty House, Sydney.

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Alex Budd, Chief Executive Officer, Opera Australia, attended the Opening Night of The Drover’s Wife Opera, at Sydney Opera House, Sydney.
