On Friday, 29 January 2021, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) received Dr Will Davies, Founder and Chairman, and Mr Paul White, Project Manager, Pozieres French Australian School Project.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Mr Chris Hartley, Executive Officer, Australian Future Leaders Program.

Then, the Governor-General hosted a lunch for Mr John Azarias, Chairman, Lysicrates Foundation.

Later, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Scientia Professor Helen Christensen AO, Director, met with staff and researchers at the Black Dog Institute.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Mr Maxwell Quirk, on the occasion of his 100th birthday, and his son Tom Quirk.
