On Saturday 30 May 2026, Their Excellencies the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, and Mr Simeon Beckett SC, travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Apia, Samoa.

In the afternoon, Their Excellencies were received by the Honourable Mulipola Anarosa Ale Molio’o, Deputy Prime Minister, where they received a Ceremonial Welcome on arrival at Faleolo International Airport, Samoa.

Then, Their Excellencies, together with His Majesty King Tupou VI, King of Tonga, as guests of His Excellency Will Robinson, Australian High Commissioner to Samoa, attended dinner at the residence of the Australian High Commissioner in Samoa. Guests included: Lord Fatafehi Fakafanua, Prime Minister of Tonga, and Lady Fane Fakafanua; Captain Sione Fifita (retired), Private Secretary to His Majesty King Tupou VI; Mr Jeff Barnes, Deputy Official Secretary to the Governor-General; and Mr Craig Chittick OAM, Deputy Head of Office of the Pacific, Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
