On Saturday, 11 April 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Bendigo, Victoria. 

Then, the Governor-General, as Patron, Legacy Australia, and guest of Mr Tim Evans, President, attended a morning tea with Legacy War Widows at Bendigo Legacy Club, Bendigo. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Tom King, Manager, Bendigo Football Netball League, attended a community football match between Sandhurst versus Broadford Reserve, at Queen Elizabeth Oval, Bendigo. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Doug Lougoon, Chair, and Mr Hugo Leschen, Chief Executive Officer, visited the Golden Dragon Museum in Bendigo. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Emma Fowler, Chair, and Michelle Crawford, Chief Executive Officer, visited Annie North Incorporated in Bendigo. 

In the evening, the Governor-General, as Patron, Legacy Australia, and guest of Councillor Thomas Price, Mayor, City of Greater Bendigo, attended a Centenary Reception of Bendigo Legacy Club, at Ulumbarra Theatre, Bendigo.
