On Monday 02 February 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. 

Then, the Governor-General received His Excellency Mr Paul Wilson, Ambassador to the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and Mr Mark Tattersall, First Assistant Secretary, Polynesia, Micronesia and Development Division. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Her Excellency Dr. Hilda Heine, President of the Republic of the Marshall Islands at Government House, Canberra. 

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales.
