On Saturday 25 April 2026, Their Excellencies the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, and Mr Simeon Beckett SC, as guests of Mr Joshua Farquhar, Chief Executive Officer, North Bondi Returned Services League, attended the 2026 Anzac Day Dawn Service in North Bondi.

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Matt Anderson PSM, Director, Australian War Memorial, and Peter Baldwin, President, Returned Services League Australian Capital Territory Branch, attended, as Reviewing Officer, the Anzac Day National Commemorative Service and Veterans’ March at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra.
