On Tuesday, 12 May 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Patron, hosted a morning tea for SchoolAid Awards at Admiralty House, Sydney. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. 

Then, the Governor-General met students and teachers from Shore Prep School, North Sydney, New South Wales, as they undertook a tour of Government House, Canberra. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Mr Greg Moriarty AO, Australian Head of Mission Designate to the United States of America, at Government House, Canberra.
