On Monday 25 May 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.

Then, the Governor-General hosted a meeting of the Museum of Australian Democracy, First Nations Advisory Committee, at Government House, Canberra.

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Penrhos College, Como, Western Australia.

Later, the Governor-General, as Patron, hosted a reception for the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, at Government House, Canberra.
