On Monday, 6 July 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian capital Territory. 

Then, the Governor-General received Mr John Easthope, Designer of the Government House Bravery Garden, and Ms Lyn Hearfield, Assistant to Mr Easthope, at Government House, Canberra. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General hosted a lunch for Hands Across Canberra Heroes at Government House, Canberra. 

Then, the Governor-General received Her Excellency Ms Anne-Grethe Riss, Ambassador of Norway to Australia, at Government House, Canberra.
