On Tuesday 11 September 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Patron-in-Chief, and guest of Ms Alison Creagh AM CSC, Chair, Paralympics Australia, and Ms Vanessa Hudson, Chief Executive Officer, Qantas, attend the Paralympic Team Welcome Home. 

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Ms Melissa Smith, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, and Ms Paula McLean, Advisory Group Member, She Gives.

Then, the Governor-General as guest of Professor Chennupati Jagadish AC, President, attended the Australian Academy of Science 70th Anniversary Gala Dinner.
