On Thursday 20 June 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. 

Then, the Governor-General received Ms Danielle Heinecke, High Commissioner to Malaysia; and Ms Derya Koc-Mcdonald, Director, Malaysia and Brunei Office, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with students and staff of Saint Paul’s School, Brisbane, as they undertook a school tour of Governments House. 

Later, His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC, as Patron, and the Governor-General, as guests of Mr Simon Froude, Director-General, attended a tour of the National Archives Australia. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General hosted an afternoon tea for Integra Dogs veteran handlers and their assistance dogs. 

Later, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett received Dr Donnell Davis, President, and Mr Brian Gleeson, Vice-President, United Nations Australia Association. 

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett hosted a dinner for Professor Glyn Davis AC, Secretary, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
