On Tuesday 28 October 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Patron, Indigenous Marathon Fund, hosted a morning tea for the 2025 Squad Members of the Indigenous Marathon Project. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. 

Then, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Woodroffe, Northern Territory. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Mr Steve Martin OAM, National Director and Mrs Susanne Martin, Treasurer, Toast 4 Kids.
