On Sunday 16 November 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra Australian Capital Territory.  

Then, the Governor-General, as Commander-in-Chief and guest of Mr Matt Anderson PSM, Director, Australian War Memorial, attended a Last Post Ceremony at the Australian War Memorial.  

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Doug Baird OAM and Mrs Kaye Baird, attended a dinner in memory of Corporal Cameron Baird VC MG, at the Australian War Memorial.  

Then, the Governor-General, travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales.
