On Wednesday 19 November 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. 

Then, the Governor-General received Ms Felicia Welstead, Chief Executive Officer, and Ashleigh McKenna, Life’s Little Treasures. 

In the afternoon, His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC, as Joint Patron and guest of Megan Bridger-Darling, attended a National Survivor’s Day Event at New South Wales Parliament. 

Then, the Governor-General was represented at St Andrew’s Cathedral, Sydney, New South Wales, for the State Funeral of John Laws CBE, by Commander Kent Browning RAN, Honorary Aide-de-Camp.

Afterwards, the Governor-General hosted an afternoon tea for The Man Cave.
