On Friday 6 June 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Sydney, New South Wales to Taree, New South Wales.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Uncle William Paulson, Biripi Worimi Elder, visited the Biripi Aboriginal Corporation Medical Centre.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of the Neals and Polson families, visited Neals Dairy Farm.

Later, the Governor-General participated in an interview with Michael Condon, Radio Presenter, ABC Country Hour.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Mike Wassing AFSM, Commissioner, New South Wales State Emergency Services, and Holly Rankin, Coordinator, Taree Community Volunteer Group, attended a community lunch at Taree State Emergency Services Headquarters.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Shirley McRae visited a residential flood effected area in Wingham, New South Wales.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Councillor Claire Pontin, Mayor, visited the Mid-Coast Council Administration and Customer Service Centre.

In the evening, the Governor-General travelled from Taree, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
