On Tuesday 25 July 2023, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Sydney to Wollongong, New South Wales.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Eric Easterbrook, Chairman, participated in the Wollongong leg of the Centenary of Legacy Torch Relay.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Mr Easterbrook, attended a reception to celebrate the Centenary of Legacy Torch Relay.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Wollongong to Sydney, New South Wales.

Then, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley hosted a reception for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
