On Tuesday 02 September 2025, Their Excellencies the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, and Mr Simeon Beckett SC, as guest of Mr Hirano Kakuji, Chief Executive Officer, attended Meals on Wheels Tokyo.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Justin Hayhurst, Australian Ambassador to Japan, with Ms Helen Stylianou, Australian Deputy Head of Mission, co-hosted a women’s leadership roundtable at the Australian Embassy, Tokyo. 

In the afternoon, Their Excellencies were received by Her Imperial Highness Crown Princess Kiko and Her Imperial Highness Princess Mako.

Then, Their Excellencies, as guests of Ms Mori Kyoko, Senior Curator, Mr Kondo Kenichi, Senior Curator, and Mr Fujimoto Sou, Architect, visited Mori Art Museum.

Afterwards, Their Excellencies, as guests of Ambassador Hayhurst, attended a staff and family’s event at the Australian Embassy in Tokyo

In the evening, Their Excellencies, as guests of Ambassador Hayhurst, attended a Garden Party and Evening Reception at the Australian Embassy in Tokyo.
