On Wednesday 03 September 2025, Their Excellencies the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, and Mr Simeon Beckett SC, travelled from Tokyo, Japan to Osaka, Japan.  

Then, Their Excellencies, as guests of Nancy Gordon, Commissioner General for Australia, World Expo 2025, attended the Australian National Day at the World Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan. During their time at the Expo, they visited the Australia, Japan and Indonesia pavilions, and participated in formal events to recognise Australian National Day at the Expo.
