On Tuesday 17 March 2009, at Government House, Sydney, the Administrator Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO and Sir Nicholas Shehadie AC OBE hosted a reception in support of The Song Company on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.

At the Australian High Commission, Port Louis, Mauritius, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE met with staff and representatives of the Australian Community in Mauritius.
