Listeners include people who are aged, disabled, non-English speaking and also those who are time poor.

On Sunday 29 January 2017, at the Billabong Clubhouse, Tamworth, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chair, Mr Mal McPherson, viewed the facilities and met with members and staff. The Clubhouse is one of 10 in Australia and provides employment, education, and support services to community members who have a mental illness.
