Afterwards, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Executive Director, Spirit of ANZAC Centenary Experience, Brigadier Alison Creagh CSC (Retd), viewed the exhibition and met with guests, volunteers and staff.

On Saturday 20 February 2016, at Freeman House, Armidale, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Acting Chief Executive Officer, St Vincent de Paul Society, Mr David Kelly, viewed the facility and met with staff and clients.

Afterwards, at the Armidale Airport, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove met with Armidale-based Australian Navy Cadets and Australian Air Force Cadets.
