Afterwards, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Mr Darko Uskokovic, Letters of Credentials accrediting him as the Ambassador of Montenegro.

At the National Museum of Australia, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove as guests of the Chair of the Council, Mr David Jones, opened the ‘Encounters’ and ‘Unsettled’ exhibitions.

On Tuesday 1 December 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a morning tea for the 2015 Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Graduates and Indigenous Australian Government Development Program Trainees.

On Monday 30 November 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq, His Excellency Mr Mouayed Saleh.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a lunch for the European Union Heads of Mission of the Canberra Diplomatic Corps.

Later, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-designate to the Republic of Poland, Mr Paul Wojciechowski.

The Governor-General, as Patron, and Lady Cosgrove, attended the New Colombo Plan 2016 Scholarships Presentation dinner at the National Gallery of Australia.
