In Aitkenvale, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Director, Mates4Mates, Mr Bill Whitburn OAM, visited the Townsville Family Recovery Centre and met with staff and veterans.
At Lavarack Barracks, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Colonel Commandant, The Royal Australian Regiment, Major General Mark Kelly AO DSC (Retd), attended a parade celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of The Royal Australian Regiment at which the Governor-General presented new Queen’s and Regimental Colours to the 2nd and 3rd Battalions, The Royal Australian Regiment. The Governor-General then presented the Unit Citation Streamer for the Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm to the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment.

On Friday 20 November 2015, at the Westin Hotel Sydney, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the President, Cauliflower Club, Mr Peter FitzSimons AM, attended an annual lunch.
Afterwards, at the Qantas Sydney Jetbase, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chairman, Mr Leigh Clifford and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Alan Joyce, attended a dinner on the occasion of Qantas’ 95th birthday.
On Thursday 19 November 2015, at Admiralty House, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove met with teachers and students from St Francis of Assisi Regional Catholic Primary School.
Afterwards, the Governor-General received Chairman, Mr David Gray, Deputy Chairman, Mr Tony Ralph and Chief Executive Officer, Ms Jenny Walker from Legacy Australia.
In the evening, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a reception for Social Ventures Australia.
On Wednesday 18 November 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a morning tea for Legacy Widows from the Canberra, Queanbeyan and Yass-Boorowa district.
Later, Lady Cosgrove received the Chair, Ms Rhonda Brain OAM and the Director, Paint the Town REaD, Ms Barbie Bates.

On Tuesday 17 November 2015, in Woden, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the President, Mr Jim Gilchrist, visited the Woden Valley RSL Sub-Branch and Veteran’s Support Centre ACT and met with staff and volunteers.
Afterwards, at St Thomas the Apostle Primary School, Kambah, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Principal, Mr David Thiele, attended an ANZAC Garden dedication service and met with staff, volunteers, students and parents.
