The Governor-General met youth leaders and Wiradjuri elders during a visit to the Ngurra Youth Hub in Wagga Wagga.
Ms Bryce and Mr Michael Bryce were welcomed with traditional Indigenous performances by the dance group Maliyaa before joining discussions with the elders.
Agricultural scientific facilities at Charles Sturt University were the focus of a visit by the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce to the Wagga Wagga campus.
Ms Bryce was greeted by Professor Andrew Vann, Vice-Chancellor and President of Charles Sturt University, Professor Deirdre Lemerle, Director EH Graham Centre for Agricultural Innovation and senior staff and scientists before viewing the Rhyziolysimeter Laboratory.
The Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce hosted a community reception at the Council Chambers to mark a year since the 2012 floods affected Wagga Wagga.

On Friday 15 February 2013, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted a presentation ceremony and reception for the Order of Australia Association Foundation.
The Governor-General received representatives from the St Vincent de Paul Society who are volunteering the annual Doornock Appeal in the Canberra region.
The Governor-General, as Patron of the Order of Australia Association, welcomed delegates to the 2013 National Conference to Government House, Canberra.
Ms Bryce presented two scholarships on behalf of the Association's Foundation to university students Mr Benjamin Knight and Mr Aaron Moss before meeting delegates from across Australia.
On Thursday 14 February 2013, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.
Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Minister for Disability Reform and Minister for Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, the Honourable Jenny Macklin MP.
Later, the Governor-General received the High Commissioner-designate for the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, Ms Deborah Stokes.
On Wednesday 13 February 2013, at the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, as guest of the Director, Mr Kiersten Fishburn, viewed the ‘Onside’ exhibition.
The Governor-General visited an exhibition dedicated to women’s sporting participation at the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre in Sydney.
Ms Bryce was welcomed by the Director of the Arts Centre, Ms Kiersten Fishburn, and escorted through Onside. Later, the Governor-General met artists and year 10 students from Westfield’s Sport High School who contributed to the exhibition.
