Federal Executive Council

On Thursday 22 November 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the High Commissioner-designate to Trinidad and Tobago, Mr Ross Tysoe AO.

In the evening, at the Hellenic Club, Woden, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as Patron, attended the St John Ambulance ACT Awards Night.

Credentials

On Wednesday 21 November 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, received from His Excellency Mr Nadjib Riphat, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Hanggiro Setiabudi (Minister Counsellor) and Ms Dewi Anggraeni Wahjudati (Minister Counsellor). The Governor-General also received Mrs Nino Riphat.

Federal Executive Council; St John’s Investiture Ceremony; Movement of Women and the Anglican Church

On Tuesday 20 November 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Prior, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted an investiture ceremony for The Priory in Australia of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem.

Later, the Governor-General hosted an afternoon tea for the participants of the Movement of Women and the Anglican Church.

Queen’s Scout and Baden Powell Awards

On Monday 19 November 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO received the Director General of AusAID, Mr Peter Baxter.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-designate to the Portuguese Republic, Ms Anne Plunket.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Chief Scout and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted a reception at which the Governor-General presented the 2012 Queen’s Scout and Baden Powell Awards.

Male Choirs Festival

On Saturday 17 November 2012, at the Dallas Brooks Centre, Melbourne, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as Patron, officially opened the 3rd Males Choirs Festival.

Earlier, at Royal Australian Air Force Base Darwin, the Governor-General was represented at the transit through Australia of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, by Captain Frank Kresse ADC RANR, Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
