On Wednesday 4 February 2015, at Sydney Town Hall, Sydney, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, attended the State Funeral for the late the Honourable Tom Uren AC.

Afterwards, at Regatta Point, Canberra, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Lady Cosgrove, attended the 2015 season launch of the ACT Brumbies.

Australia-United Kingdom Ministerial Consultations; Opening of the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building; Visit to Grow Headquarters NSW

On Monday 2 February 2015, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a morning tea for the Australia-United Kingdom Ministerial Consultations.

Afterwards, at the University of Technology Sydney, Ultimo, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chancellor, Professor Vicki Sara AO, officially opened the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building.

Visit to Saudi Arabia following the passing of King Abdullah

On Tuesday 27 January 2015, at the Australian Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), met with the Governor-General of Canada, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston CC CMM COM CD.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of the Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Mr Neil Hawkins, attended a morning tea with representatives of the Australian community living in Riyadh.

Visit to Saudi Arabia following the passing of King Abdullah

On Monday 26 January 2015, at the Australian Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received a briefing by the Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Mr Neil Hawkins.

Afterwards, the Governor-General attended a lunch hosted in his honour by the Australian Ambassador with Saudi business representatives and members of the Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia.
