Lunch with the Governor of NSW; Music Evening

On Tuesday 11 February 2014, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, hosted a lunch for the Governor of New South Wales, Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, Professor Elizabeth Elliott AM, Ms Janet McCredie AM, Ms Bronwyn Bancroft and Ms Jan Bowen.

Afterwards, the Governor-General hosted a Music Evening with a performance of ‘Schubert’s Trout Quintet’.

Farewell call

On Friday 7 February 2014, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, received a farewell call from the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, His Excellency Hoang Vinh Thanh.

On Thursday 6 February 2014, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, received the Director-General - National Archives of Australia, Mr David Fricker, and Acting Assistant Director-General Collection Management, Ms Ann McLean.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, received the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Western Sydney, Emeritus Professor Janice Reid AM.

Earlier, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as Patron, hosted a morning tea to mark World Cancer Day 2014.

Visit to Perth

On Tuesday 4 February 2014, at Coolbinia, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, as guest of the Chief Executive Officer, Ms Judy Hogben, visited the Centre for Cerebral Palsy.

Afterwards, at Burswood, the Governor-General, as guest of the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Gerard Neesham OAM, and Chair, Mr Ross Kelly, visited the Clontarf Foundation.

Later, at Waterford, the Governor-General, as guest of the Principal, Ms Julie Hornby, visited the Clontarf Aboriginal College.
