On Wednesday 3 July 2013, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO issued the Oath of Office to the Honourable Amanda Rishworth MP as Parliamentary Secretary for the Environment and Urban Water, and Parliamentary Secretary for Disabilities and Carers.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Chief Executive Officer of Chief Executive Women, Mrs Julie White.

Later, the Governor-General received Australian Actress, Ms Jane Harders.

On Tuesday 2 July 2013, in Manly, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, as guest of the Chief Operating Officer of the Australian Federal Police, Mr Andrew Wood, officially opened the redeveloped Australian Institute of Police Management.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of the Chair of Women’s Community Shelters, Ms Gina Anderson, and the Shelter President, Ms Ellie Hunt, met with residents and staff at the Manly Women’s Shelter.
