The Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Chief of the Defence Force, General David Hurley AC DSC, attended a dinner with senior Defence leaders at Bridges House, Duntroon.
On Tuesday 13 August 2013, at The Union Club, Sydney, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, as guest of the Executive Director, Ms Sophie McCarthy, attended a lunch and delivered the keynote address to McCarthy Mentoring mentors and clients.
Afterwards, at Admiralty House, the Governor-General hosted an afternoon tea for Manly Women’s Shelter. Guests included: Ms Gina Anderson; Ms Annabelle Daniel; Ms Rhonda Henderson; Ms Jacqueline Smith and Ms Julie White.
The Governor-General, as guest of the McCarthy Mentoring Executive Director, Ms Sophie McCarthy, attended a lunch at the Union Club, Sydney, and delivered the keynote address to mentors and clients.
At Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General hosted an afternoon tea for representatives from the Manly Women’s Shelter.
On Monday 12 August 2013, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, hosted a morning tea for participants of the 21st annual Australian American Leadership Dialogue.
Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Deputy Principal of Maroubra Junction Primary School, Mrs Helen Empacher, and accompanying students.
Later, the Governor-General received the Sex Discrimination Commissioner, Ms Elizabeth Broderick.
The Governor-General hosted a morning tea for participants of the 21st annual Australian American Leadership Dialogue at Admiralty House, Sydney.
At Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General met students and teachers from Maroubra Junction Primary School.
On Saturday 10 August 2013, at the Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland Showgrounds, Brisbane, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, hosted a lunch to acknowledge the contribution that women from the country and the city make to the community, and to promote further linkages between metropolitan and rural Queensland.
At the Fireworks Gallery, Newstead, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Director, Mr Michael Eather, and Mrs Danica Eather, officially launched the auction for the ‘Table of Love.’
