On Tuesday 16 August 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Algerian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office at Geneva, His Excellency Idriss Jazairy.

Later, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a reception for the overseas course members from the Australian Defence College.

On Monday 15 August 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Chief of Army, Lieutenant General David Morrison AO.

On Saturday 6 August 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted a lunch for the Ambassador of the United States of America, His Excellency Mr Jeffrey Bleich and Mrs Rebecca Bleich. On Friday 5 August 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received a farewell call from the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Dr Woo Sang Kim.
