On Friday 30 October 2009, in Gnowangerup, Western Australia, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, accompanied by Contact Incorporated Co-ordinator, Ms Sue Kingwill, visited the Gnowangerup Family Support Association at the Infant Health Centre in recognition of Children's Week.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE received the Australian Ambassador to the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr Jeremy Newman.
