On Tuesday 30 June 2009, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received from His Excellency Lemalu Tate Simi, Letters of Commission accrediting him as the High Commissioner for the Independent State of Samoa. The High Commissioner was accompanied by Mr Luciano Fonoti (Deputy Head of Mission).
