On Thursday 13 December 2007, at the Australian Defence Force Academy, Campbell ACT, Their Excellencies the Governor-General Major General Michael Jeffery AC CVO MC and Mrs Marlena Jeffery attended the 2007 Graduation Parade of Midshipmen and Officer Cadets, at which the Governor-General, as Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Force, reviewed the Parade, presented the Commander-in-Chief's Medal and delivered the address.
