On Thursday 14 June 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark, Her Excellency Ms Susanne Shine and Mr Tony Shine.

Later, the Governor-General received the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Mr Taeyong Cho.

The Governor-General was invited to visit the new premises of the Office of National Assessments in Barton, Canberra, by the Director-General, Mr Allan Gyngell AO.

On Wednesday 13 June 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, His Excellency Mr Oğuz Özge.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, received a Judge of the Queensland Court of Appeal, the Honourable Justice Margaret White and Dr Michael White QC.

On Tuesday 12 June 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, received the High Commissioner for the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Mr Adnan Jaafar and Ms Pengiran Salina Pengiran Haji Alli.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Ambassador-designate to Chile, Mr Timothy Kane.

On Sunday 10 June 2012, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, was represented at the departure from Australia of the Governor-General of the Solomon Islands, His Excellency Sir Frank Ofagioro Kabui CSI CMG OBE, by Group Captain Guy Burton CSC ADC, Honorary Aide-de-Camp.

On Saturday 9 June 2012, the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, returned from a State Visit to the Republic of Cyprus and Official Visit to the United Kingdom.

Earlier, at Brisbane International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the arrival in Australia of the Governor-General of the Solomon Islands, His Excellency Sir Frank Ofagioro Kabui CSI CMG OBE, by Group Captain Guy Burton CSC ADC, Honorary Aide-de-Camp.

On Thursday 7 June 2012, at the Pathway of Honour, Adelaide, the Administrator, Rear Admiral Kevin Scarce AC CSC RANR and Mrs Liz Scarce, as guests of the President of the 9th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment Association of South Australia, Mr David Stacey, unveiled a memorial to the 43rd Infantry Battalion Australian Imperial Force.

On Wednesday 6 June 2012, at the RiAus Science Exchange, Adelaide, the Administrator, Rear Admiral Kevin Scarce AC CSC RANR, as guest of The Cook Society Convenor, Mr James Michell AM, attended the ‘Transit of Venus’ lunch and delivered an address.

Afterwards, at Government House, the Administrator and Mrs Liz Scarce hosted a reception for supporters and volunteers of the 2012 Adelaide Cabaret Festival.

In London, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce joined representatives from Commonwealth nations for a lunch in honour of Her Majesty The Queen, hosted by His Excellency Mr Kamalesh Sharma, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth Secretariat, at Marlborough House.

On Tuesday 5 June 2012, at Government House, Adelaide, the Administrator, Rear Admiral Kevin Scarce AC CSC RANR and Mrs Liz Scarce, hosted a reception for Young Business Leaders of the Royal Society of the Blind and AusAID Australian Leadership Fellows of Flinders University Centre for Development Studies.

Afterwards, at the Adelaide Town Hall, the Administrator, and Mrs Scarce, as guests of Executive Director of the Australian String Quartet, Ms Angelina Zucco, attended the concert, ‘Legacy’.
