On Friday 27 November 2009, at the Sydney Mechanics' School of Arts, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as Patron, officially opened the Annual Home Hospice Conference.

On Thursday 26 November 2009, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received from His Excellency Mr Stephen Tarus, Letters of Commission accrediting him as the High Commissioner for the Republic of Kenya. The High Commissioner was accompanied by Ms Yvonne Wamalwa (Deputy Head of Mission), Ms Beatrice Muthigana (First Secretary) and Ms Margaret Iraki (Administrative Assistant).

On Wednesday 25 November 2009, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

On Tuesday 24 November 2009, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the author of the book Looking Forward, Looking Back, Mr Christopher Jobson who was accompanied by Mrs Tracey Jobson and Mr Denny Neave.

On Monday 23 November 2009, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Ambassador-designate to the Republic of Ireland, Mr Bruce Davis AM.

On Saturday 21 November 2009, at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as Commander-in-Chief, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended a parade to mark the end of Operation CATALYST.

Later, at the National Archives, Canberra, Mr Bryce, as Patron, attended the Capital Arts Patrons Organisation ???CAPO 26' Exhibition.

On Friday 20 November 2009, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a morning tea for members of the Australian Samoan Community in support of those affected by the recent tsunami.

In the evening, at the Rendezvous Hotel, Melbourne, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mr Bryce attended the Sir Edward ???Weary' Dunlop Medical Research Foundation Dinner at which the Governor-General delivered the keynote address.
