On Monday 2 April 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Dr Lyn Bishop OAM, Principal, visited Sheldon College, Brisbane.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a morning tea for Queensland-based patronages, at Customs House.

Later, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove hosted a lunch for Queensland-based recipients of Australian honours and awards, at the Malt Cellar.

Christchurch, New Zealand

On Friday 29 March 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, received a briefing from Her Excellency the Honourable Patricia Forsythe AM, High Commissioner for Australia in New Zealand at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Christchurch, New Zealand.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove visited the Al Noor Mosque to lay a floral tribute for victims of the Christchurch Mosque terror attacks.

Canberra, ACT; Toowoomba, QLD

On Thursday 28 March 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), presided over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council at Government House, Canberra.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Mr Shane Charles, Chairman, Royal Agricultural Society of Queensland, attended the unveiling of a plaque to commemorate the 11th Lighthorse Regiment in Toowoomba.

Later, the Governor-General, and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Mr Shane Charles, officially opened the 155th Toowoomba Royal Show.

On Wednesday 27 March 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), met with Mr Rick Cranna, Chairman, Legacy Australia; Mr Philip McNamara, Vice-Chairman, Legacy Australia; and Mr Scott Warr, CEO, Legacy Australia.

Earlier, the Governor-General met with students from Montpellier Primary School, Highton, VIC; Gladstone Park Secondary College, VIC; and Orchard Grove Primary School, Blackburn South, VIC, as they undertook a tour of Government House as part of their visit to Canberra.

On Tuesday 26 March 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a lunch for His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor of New South Wales and Mrs Linda Hurley at Admiralty House, Sydney.

On Friday 22 March 2019 the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) was represented at the National Gallery of Victoria for the State Funeral of Dame Margaret Scott AC DBE by Honorary Aide-de-Camp Brigadier Ed Smeaton ADC.

On Thursday 21 March 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), presided over two meetings of the Federal Executive Council at Government House, Canberra.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Ms Frances Finney PSM, a/g First Secretary, Department of Home Affairs, and Mr David Austin, Principal, Good Shepherd Primary School, attended a citizenship ceremony and Harmony Week celebration at Good Shepherd Primary School, Amaroo.

Melbourne, VIC

On Wednesday 20 March 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of Professor Linda Kristjanson AO, Vice-Chancellor, visited Swinburne University Hawthorne Campus.

Afterwards, Lady Cosgrove as Patron, and the Governor-General, as guests of Mrs Dianne Gepp, President, visited the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing at the May Downs Dance School, Melbourne.

On Tuesday 19 March 2019, the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received Ms Pauline James, State President, RSL NSW Auxiliaries; Mr Ray James; Mr Paul James; Ms Leah Whalan; and Ms Anne-Maree Jacobs at Government House, Canberra.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a lunch for the Southeast Asian Heads of Mission.
