On Thursday 30 April 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), presided over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

In the evening, at Canberra Theatre Centre, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Executive Director of the Sydney Dance Company, Ms Anne Dunn, attended the Sydney Dance Company ‘Frame of Mind’ performance.

On Tuesday 28 April 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received the Executive Director, Australian Ballet, Ms Libby Christie.

On Saturday 25 April 2015, at Pukeahu National War Memorial Park, Wellington, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Governor-General of New Zealand, His Excellency, Lieutenant General the Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae GNZM QSO, attended the National ANZAC Day Dawn Service, at which the Governor-General delivered an address, and together with Lady Cosgrove, laid wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior and Australian Memorial.

At Pukeahu National War Memorial Park, Wellington, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Governor-General of New Zealand, His Excellency, Lieutenant General the Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae GNZM QSO, attended the National ANZAC Day Dawn Service, at which the Governor-General delivered an address, and together with Lady Cosgrove, laid wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior and Australian Memorial.

At the Australian War Memorial, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended the National ANZAC Day Commemoration Service, at which the Governor-General delivered the Commemorative Address and reviewed the veterans march, and together with Lady Cosgrove, laid a wreath at the Stone of Remembrance and floral tributes at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

At the Australian War Memorial, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove accompanied by Their Excellencies the Governor-General of New Zealand and Lady Mateparae, viewed the First World War Galleries and attended the Anzac Day Last Post Ceremony.

On Friday 24 April 2015, following the departure from Australia of the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), the Proclamation assuming the Administration of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia was signed by the Governor of Victoria, His Excellency the Honourable Alex Chernov AC QC.

At Westpac Stadium, Wellington, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove attended a St Kilda Football Club open training session hosted by the Strategic Projects Manager, Mr Ben Davies, at which the Governor-General met supporters and addressed players, coaches and support staff.

At the Pukeahu National War Memorial Park, Wellington, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove visited the Australian Memorial hosted by the Chief Executive of Ministry for Culture and Heritage, Mr Lewis Holden, and laid poppies at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior.

On Thursday 23 April 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), as Patron, and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a morning tea for Clontarf Foundation students and staff.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, hosted to lunch the former President and Prime Minister of Timor-Leste, His Excellency Xanana Gusmao and Her Excellency Mrs Kristy Sword-Gusmao.
