Afterwards, at the National Museum of Australia, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Director, Dr Mathew Trinca, viewed the Spirited: Australia’s Horse Story exhibition.

Later, at Government House, the Governor-General received the Captain of the ACT Brumbies, Mr Stephen Moore.

On Wednesday 4 February 2015, at Sydney Town Hall, Sydney, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, attended the State Funeral for the late the Honourable Tom Uren AC.

Afterwards, at Regatta Point, Canberra, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Lady Cosgrove, attended the 2015 season launch of the ACT Brumbies.

At the University of Technology Sydney, Ultimo, NSW, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chancellor, Professor Vicki Sara AO, attended the official opening of the university’s new business school, the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building.

On Monday 2 February 2015, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a morning tea for the Australia-United Kingdom Ministerial Consultations.

Afterwards, at the University of Technology Sydney, Ultimo, the Governor-General and Lady Cosgrove, as guests of the Chancellor, Professor Vicki Sara AO, officially opened the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building.

On Saturday 31 January 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), and Lady Cosgrove, hosted a reception for the Royal Military College Duntroon Class of '68.

On Friday 30 January 2015, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), received Air Chief Marshal Sir Angus Houston AK AFC (Retd).

In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Governor-General conveyed the condolences of the government and people of Australia to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, following the death of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

On Tuesday 27 January 2015, at the Australian Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Governor-General, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), met with the Governor-General of Canada, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston CC CMM COM CD.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of the Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Mr Neil Hawkins, attended a morning tea with representatives of the Australian community living in Riyadh.

In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Governor-General, pictured with the Governors-General of Canada and New Zealand, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston and Lieutenant General the Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae, respectively, conveyed the condolences of the government and people of Australia to the Royal Court of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, following the death of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
